InterKinect
2023, Interactive Projection Mapping, Collaboration
InterKinect is a project that collab with seven members and was created by CADRE (Computers in Art, Design, Research, and Education) Student Organization club. The members have learned how to create a new type of art through the TouchDesigner program, allowing everyone to interact with the artwork with their movements. The team set up the exhibition at the San Jose State University Art Building and showcased it to many new students and guests on Admitted Spartan Day. Our team goal is to give the visitors an experience of students' projects and understand how students learn to create technology artworks as majoring in digital media art.

Dance Project
In this collaboration project, I created a piece called Dance. I learned how to build my first projection mapping project through the Touchdesigner program and how to use Kinect sensors to track body movements in real-time. I set up my work with a computer, Xbox Kinect, and a projector, it allows people to interact with the colorful strings of my work. This project has brought me a different perspective in the art field. I have learned how to work, communicate with my team, and support each other to get the dream idea to life.

Thanks to SubZERO's invitation, our team has one more opportunity to introduce our project to the San Jose community and bring back many fond memories with this genre of media artwork. This club project was the foundation that brought CADRE S.O.'s name from the classroom to the public. Our team was honored and happy to share the inspirational story with many Digital Media Art students.
